Exceptional Scottish breakfasts that fuel your adventures!
The noise from neighboring guests was quite disruptive, making it hard to relax some nights. I also found the room felt a bit cramped at times, especially when unpacking multiple bags. While the location was great, the limited parking options were a challenge after a long day of exploring.

i was almost going to give a stellar review, but then i realized the stair access was laborious, and i did NOT receive any complimentary gestures. the hosts seemed nice but woudl ve been better if they had attended to my needs. the room was a one-bedroom apartment, nothing exceptional, really.

Breakfast was exceptional, crafted with attention to detail offering a variety of choices, and those beds were superbly comfortable, making it hard to get up each morning. The decor was unique and cozy throughout the stay.
The rooms can be quite compact, which might feel cramped after a while, especially for those traveling with multiple bags. noise from neighboring guests could intrude upon the peace during the night, and the limited space in the bathrooms might not cater well to taller individuals. Accessing upper floors requires navigating stairs which could pose a challenge for some guests, and for those with a vehicle, the parking might feel cramped and tricky at times. Wi-Fi service was also spotty in some areas, which could be frustrating if you're trying to stay connected.

We had a great time during our stay with friends! The hosts were super welcoming, and the accommodations were clean and cozy. We enjoyed a lovely walk up the glen and stopped at the Fairies' doors nestled at the bottom of some tree trunks. The breakfast was plentiful and really hit the spot, fueling us for our adventures! Definitely recommend this place!
We did experience some noise from neighboring guests at night, which slightly interrupted our rest.

I really enjoyed my stay. Maggie and Malcolm were the friendliest hosts, making sure our breakfasts were just perfect and talking with us about our plans for the day. The garden had lovely spots to relax and unwind, and the cozy seating area was a nice touch for evenings. The only small thing was a slight noise from a nearby road, but it didn't bother us much at all. 😊

I enjoyed my stay here. The hosts were welcoming and made sure our breakfasts were great. I appreciated the location, which was a short walk from restaurants and bars. The nearby canal tow path also provided a great way to enjoy the area. After a long day of exploring, it was nice to come back to a quiet place. Malcolm even drove us to our next stop while showing us a scenic route. Quite an experience for my family with children.

We had a fantastic stay! The area was so peaceful and scenic, a short walk from the town centre. Our hosts were exemplary, going above and beyond to ensure we felt at home. The fully-equipped kitchen was a lovely touch, stocked with breakfast essentials (coffee and fruit).
The only downside was some stair access (could be challenging for those with mobility issues).
